Fremont East is often a celebration of excess. Thursday night, it was XS. Wynn Nightlife and Corner Bar Management teamed to bring “Feed The Block” to Fremont East. The free electronic-music party drew about 3,000 to the corner of Fremont and 6th Street, in the Fremont East Entertainment District. Headlining DJ Gryffin was the primary attraction. More than 3,000 folks turned out to groove and imbibe.

The Kats! Bureau at this writing is at a table on the marble floor of at Nona’s Homemade Sandwiches at Fontainebleau’s food court. Try the tuna wrap, if you have $25 to burn. The place is slammed with (I surmise) WWE fans in town for Wrestlemania 41. Fontainebleau is the event’s host hotel, so expect a lot of transmissions from LIV Nightclub, venue for “Wrestlemania After Dark” events.

Less than two weeks ago, Elaine Wynn related her pride in Wynn Las Vegas just ahead of the hotel’s 20th anniversary. The Las Vegas resort and philanthropic icon responded to a text April 2, the day hotel officials honored some 1,691 Day One employees with a massive dinner party and show Allegiant Stadium. From the stage, Wynn CEO Craig Billings offered all of those team members $10,000 in Wynn stock options. Wynn’s death at age 82 was announced Tuesday morning by her family foundation.

Stevie Nicks is still bringing her music to the masses. The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and legendary member of Fleetwood Mac plays T-Mobile Arena on Oct. 11, promoter Live Nation has announced. Tickets are on sale 10 a.m. Friday at AXS.com. Nicks most recently played T-Mobile on March 18, 2023. Her Vegas date is part of her summer and fall tour. Nicks is the first woman to be inducted into the Rock Hall twice, for her days with Fleetwood Mac and also a as solo artist.

Carrie Underwood shut it down out as she always has, completely soaked. Tears seemed to stream down her face, but hard to tell under the torrent that closed her “Reflection” production at Resorts World Theatre.
