As of 6am Monday: We are off to another cloudy and rainy start with temps in the low 60s. Get ready for more rain and a few strong to severe storms today as low pressure continues to bring in moisture from the Gulf. Flash flooding could be an issue today with additional rain totals from 1” to 3”  possible across areas that have already seen 1”- 5” over the last couple of days. Gusty winds could also an issue in some of these strong to severe storms, and an isolated tornado can’t be ruled out.

As of 6am Thursday: Waking up to mostly cloudy conditions with temps in the upper 50s and a few showers. Not much rain in the forecast for today, but we’ll see a few showers and storms with highs in the low to middle 80s. It will be a little more humid with dew points in the low 60s. There is a marginal risk, 1 out of 5, for severe storms. The main threat would be winds around 60+ and large hail with rainfall estimates around .25” to .50”.

An unsettled weather pattern is forecast to begin today and will continue over the next several days. That means a good chance for rain for us with highs much cooler today in the mid to upper 70s. Rain will continue tonight with morning lows in the upper 50s to low 60s.
