Free ReadJune 18 (LNGJ) - Cheniere Energy, the largest US LNG producer with the Sabine Pass and Corpus Christi plants and their expansion projects, has received board approval for an increase in its share repurchase authorisation by an additional $4 billion through 2027, and for a plan to increase its quarterly dividend by around 15 percent to $2.00 per common share annualised, commencing with the third quarter 2024.

Free ReadJune 14 (LNGJ) - TotalEnergies has agreed to sell its wholly-owned subsidiary in LNG producing nation Brunei to the Hibiscus Petroleum group, a Malaysian independent oil and gas player, for $259 million. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2024. The Sultanate of Brunei on the island of Borneo has been an LNG exporter since 1973 and the shareholders are the Brunei Government, Shell and Japan’s Mitsubishi Corp.

Free ReadFeb 9 (LNGJ) - The UK LNG import terminals at the Port of Milford Haven are scheduled to receive three cargoes next week, one from Egypt and two from the US, according to shipping data. The “Maran Gas Hector” with 174,000 cubic metres capacity is due to deliver a shipment to the Dragon terminal at the Welsh port on February 12 from the Egyptian plant at Damietta.

Free ReadJan 25 (LNGJ) - Beach Energy of Australia reported a 37 percent increase in quarterly sales revenue of A$544 million (US$358M), mainly due to the sale of the first Waitsia LNG project cargo from the onshore gas project in the Perth Basin of Western Australia and the one-off sale of a condensate shipment from the Waitsia venture with Mitsui of Japan.

Free ReadJan 17 (LNGJ) - BP has acquired a privately-owned power and gas supplier to commercial and industrial customers called Getec Energie GmbH with operations in Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, Belgium and Poland. It has an extensive German customer base, supplying power and gas as well as renewable power purchase agreements (PPAs) and balancing services. The cost of the transaction was not disclosed.
