The Virginia men's golf team made a lot of history during the ACC golf tournament at The Club at Olde Stone in Bowling Green, Kentucky. On Saturday, the Cavaliers won the stroke play portion of the tournament for the first time in program history, besting second-place North Carolina by eight strokes to earn the top seed in match play.

For the fifth straight year, the Virginia men's and women's tennis have earned the right to open the NCAA Tournament on their home courts. On Monday, the NCAA unveiled the brackets for its men's and women's tennis tournaments, and the Cavaliers earned the No. 7 overall seed in both competitions. Virginia will hosts matches Friday-Sunday at the Virginia Tennis Facility at the Boar’s Head Resort. The top 16 teams in each tournament get to host first- and second-round matches.

Six years after the Virginia men's basketball program won its first national championship, there is a new bobblehead to commemorate the Cavaliers' historic feat, and it includes a unique memento from that memorable night in Minneapolis. On Friday, the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum in Milwaukee released an officially licensed, limited edition UVa national championship bobblehead.

New Virginia men's basketball coach Ryan Odom is close to filling out his first coaching staff with the Cavaliers. The staff currently includes former Longwood head coach Griff Aldrich, who will be the associate head coach, as well as Matt Henry, Bryce Crawford and Darius Theus, who were part of Odom's staff at VCU. That leaves one assistant opening for Odom to fill to reach the NCAA limit of five assistant coaches.
