A display of Irish pride will march through the city of Syracuse streets this weekend. Founded in 1982 by Nancy Duffy, the St. Patrick's Day Parade was born out of a desire to bring Irish heritage and culture to the city neighborhoods. Price gouging, poor customer service and scams around retail shopping made up the most complaints to the state's attorney general's office last year. A from the office of New York Attorney General Letitia James tallied the top complaints sent to her office in 2022, which included those related to home improvement, gas prices and banking issues. With the surge in online shopping, the number of scams has gone up as well.
