The selections are in, and several Roaring Fork High School spring sports athletes have been bestowed with all-conference and all-state honors. The Rams girls lacrosse team had the most picks among the Roaring Fork teams for both the 4A Mountain East League and 4A All-State picks. Two members of the team, senior draw specialist Josie McKinley and junior attacker Jordyn Miller were named to the 4A All-State first team.

On Saturday morning at Rams Field in Carbondale, Roaring Fork High School honored the class of 2025. Graduates crossed the stage to receive their diplomas and roses, while family and friends cheered from the stands. After the final diploma, caps and confetti flew into the air, marking the start of a new chapter for Rams’ class of 2025.

Several local athletes competed at the Colorado Track and Field Championships in the Class 3A division, held May 15-17 at JeffCo Stadium in Lakewood, to conclude the 2025 season. A pair of Basalt High School athletes made the podium, including senior Jared Tannenbaum, who took third place in the 300-meter hurdles on the final day of competition.

It was all on the line for the Roaring Fork High School girls 4×800 relay team at the Montrose Invitational on Saturday, May 10. The “last chance” meet was their final shot at qualifying for the 3A State Track and Field Championships.

It’s playoffs time for the Roaring Fork girls soccer and lacrosse teams, as Rams teams made their respective state tournament fields headed into the first week of May. Girls lacrosse enters the 24-team Class 4A tournament as the No. 7 seed, having concluded the regular season at 11-4 overall and finishing third in the 4A Mountain East League at 6-4.
