The Isanti County Commissioners put a halt to adding a drone program to the county’s Emergency Management Department at its meeting held Tuesday, May 20. Clinton Maxson, the county’s emergency manager, originally presented a proposal to the commissioners to add a tethered unmanned aerial system, also known as drones, at the April 15 meeting. At that time the board chose to table the program because of the uncertainty of the federal funding that would pay for the drones. kAmpE E9:D >66E:?8 |2ID@?
