A 2020 Pennridge High School graduate who became a decorated soldier while fighting with the Ukraine army was killed in action earlier this year. Bobby Pietrangelo, 23, of Hilltown died Jan. 3 during a Russian offensive in the city of Pokrovsk in the Donestk Oblast, according to his mother Dana Fancher, of Hilltown Township. “I was a mess the whole time he was away and worried, of course, but he just said he needed to go,” said Fancher.
