A branch of the British military has recently taken ownership of a whole fleet of Lynx Brutal snowmobiles, according to a story from a leading defense industry media source. The Washington, D.C.-based Defense Post website reported on March 17 that the UK Royal Marines Commando Force recently received 159 new Lynx-branded snowmobiles to help in their efforts to patrol the Arctic.

With Elias Ishoel off racing in Europe and Emil Harr getting tangled up in a first-lap crash for the second night in a row, former snowmobile snocross champ Kody Kamm came storming through the door and returned to glory atop the Pro class podium in a very interesting way at Eagle River, Wisconsin. Meanwhile, Cameron Cole and Inanna Hauger completed impressive weekend sweeps in heavy, wet snow on a warm weekend for snowmobile racing on the famous Derby Complex grounds on March 15.

This is why we love sports, racing and competition! Two racers scored huge, career-defining victories on Friday at the Amsoil Championship Snocross round in Eagle River, Wisconsin. In the Pro class, it was Team LaVallee’s Adam Peterson securing the first victory in the sport’s top class, while first-year Pro Lite racer Cameron Cole did the same in that division.
