(WZTV) — On March 13, Mike Capps went out to get his mom Patsy a biscuit at McDonald's on Hwy 431 in Joelton and never made it home. 88-year-old Patsy Capps-Clark saw the crash happen right in front of her property she's lived on her entire life. "We used to play hopscotch (on Hwy 431)," also knows as Whites Creek Pike during some stretches, Patsy says.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — State data shows more and more commuters are driving Whites Creek Pike/Hwy 431 in Robertson County and Davidson County which is raising concerns after some deadly crashes in the area. In March, Mike Capps died in a head on collision just outside his house in Joelton. Tennessee Highway Patrol, Metro Police, Robertson County Sheriff, Robertson County EMA, and Coopertown Police launched “Slow Down for Mike” in his honor.
