The Auburn Cornfest Planning Committee, in conjunction with the Auburn Area Chamber of Commerce, is already looking toward next year following Sunday's completion of the 52nd Auburn Cornfest. The Cornfest returned to Auburn for the first time since 2022, and organizers called the homecoming a wonderful success and expressed gratitude for the support and encouragement of the volunteers and sponsors who made the five-day event possible.

Hundreds of spectators and participants braved sweltering heat for Sunday's Auburn Cornfest Parade as it made its way down Midland Street to the Cornfest Grounds at US-10 and Nine Mile Road. The 52nd Cornfest returned to its longtime home in Auburn for the first time since 2022. The event kicked off on Wednesday, June 18 and concluded on Sunday, June 22 with its historic parade and a classic car cruise to support the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Saturday morning at the 52nd Auburn Cornfest kicked off with a Kids' Fishing Derby. The free event saw some 30 local anglers and their families vying for prizes in three age groups: 2-5, 6-9 and 10-13. The five-day festival has made a triumphant return to its roots at Cornfest Grounds after a three-year absence, drawing large crowds for carnival rides, live music, a Cornhole Tournament and much more.

A rare Bay City fire truck will be showcased to the public during the historic Auburn Cornfest Parade on Sunday, June 22. The 1959 fire truck, one of fewer than 100 manufactured by the Bay City-based Valley Truck Company, will join what could be more than 100 other businesses and organizations represented in this year’s parade.
