CLEMSON — Brad Brownell is stacking 6-foot-10 forwards this offseason. Clemson just added a commitment from Utah transfer Jake Wahlin on April 14. The native of Provo follows 6-10 additions Nick Davidson (Nevada) and Carter Welling (Utah Valley) to the Tigers’ frontcourt. Davidson is a senior with one season to play, but Welling and Wahlin are slated to have two years of eligibility left. What all three forwards have in common is an ability to hit from 3-point range.

CLEMSON — Erik Bakich loves America. And the Tigers' head baseball coach has loved Clemson, ever since his year as a volunteer assistant in 2002 because it's a university and a community that values "God, country, family.""It wasn't because we have this bustling town, all kinds of shopping and entertainment. It's the people," Bakich said.

CLEMSON — It wasn't easy getting Dabo Swinney on the pulpit at Austin Ridge Bible Church. The first time pastor Brad Thomas, a Clemson alum, had one of his congregants, Clemson quarterback Cade Klubnik, inquire about Swinney speaking at the church's "Warrior Night," they heard he was booked through 2026. "No problem," Thomas recalled telling Klubnik. "You're going to run out of eligibility before it'll probably work, right?" "Let me keep working on it," Klubnik replied.

CLEMSON — The spring game wasn't Tristan Smith's first time in Death Valley because the receiver transfer from Southeast Missouri State put a few catches under his belt during Clemson's closed scrimmages in March. But this time, on April 5, there were fans in orange and purple packed like sardines on one side of the stands. In that crowd, there was Smith's mom, who helped raise him and seven of his siblings. There were bound to be nerves.
