I played disc golf once. It was cool. I definitely prefer disc golf vibes to golf/country club vibes, but that’s a matter of personal preference. I’m not going to pretend I know much about either sport. But the disk golfers we met on the course that one time could not have been more welcoming to my family of complete newbies.

There’s a certain comfort in going to the supermarket in June – something about seeing locals wearing cut-offs and flip flops doing that most mundane chore of grocery shopping that has an endearing quality. It’s kind of an unofficial dress code for the area, the comfortable go-to when we finally get beach days. It’s really the pinnacle of summer style. It’s fairly ageless.
