High Pressure ( Dry Sinking clockwise circulating air typically producing Dry and Clear Weather ) is going to stay anchored over the Upper Midwest and southern parts of the Canadian Prairies this week bringing Sunny and Warm Weather all week and into next weekend in the Twin Cities. The first chance for any Rain from T-Storms is not until Monday May 12 and Tuesday May 13. Look for big time Spring Blooming this week with Purple Lilacs at or near full bloom next weekend in time for Mother’s Day.

Rain and embedded T-Storms ( nothing Severe ) after 4 p.m. and becoming more widespread after 6 p.m. with Rainfall amounts late this afternoon into early Friday morning ranging from .10″ to .25″ across the Twin Cities. Rain becoming lighter after 10 p.m. with lows by sunrise ( 6:00 a.m. ) Friday in the mid 40s.

Sunny Skies in the Twin Cities early this afternoon then becoming Partly to Mostly Cloudy after 4 p.m. Highs this afternoon will be in the upper 60s with South Winds at 5 to 15 mph. Cloudy Tonight with Isolated Rain Showers Thursday morning with the more widespread Rain to the southeast toward Rochester and Winona. Temperatures in the morning around 50 degrees with Southeast Winds at 5 to 10 mph. Cloudy Thursday with Light Rain Showers possible 12 a.m. to 10 a.m. but nothing heavy expected.
