    Clouds and some Patchy Fog before the early afternoon then becoming Partly Cloudy to Sunny in the Twin Cities after 2 p.m. with highs near 60 Degrees and Winds from the West at 5 to 10 mph. Clear Skies Tonight with lows near 40 Degrees with Southeast Winds at 5 to 10 mph. Mainly Sunny and Windy on Saturday which will elevate the risk for Grass Fires especially in areas north and west of the Twin Cities. Winds on Saturday will be Gusty from the South at 15 to 25 mph with highs in the upper 60s.

    Today’s Weather in the Twin Cities will be Cooler with Mainly Cloudy Skies but some Peeks of Sun although also some Spotty Light Rain Showers at times but nothing heavy. Highs Today in the low 50s with North Winds at 5 to 15 mph. Cloudy Tonight with Sprinkles and Isolated Rain Showers and Patchy Fog developing with lows in the upper 30s and Light Winds from the North at less than 5 mph.

    So far April 2025 in the Twin Cities is running -4.1 Degrees Below Average but heading into this afternoon and Weekend Above Average temperatures expected with the exception of Thursday which will be about 4 Degrees Cooler than average. Average Highs are now in the mid 50s and Average Lows are in the mid 30s and during the last week of April Average highs are in the mid 60s and Average Lows are in the upper 40s.

    Yesterday’s Cold and Brisk North Winds at 10 to 20 mph in the Twin Cities is replaced by Lighter Winds Today from the South at 5 to 15 mph and temperatures will climb into the upper 40s to near 50 Degrees ( Average is 53 Degrees ) with Mainly Sunny Skies. Mostly Cloudy Tonight with Rain Sprinkles possible after 4 a.m. Wednesday and low temperatures by sunrise ( 6:38 a.m. ) in the mid 30s with Southeast Winds at 5 to 10 mph.

Highs Today in low 40s with Wind-Chills in low 30s and Breezy North Winds at 10 to 15 mph. Clear Skies with Light Winds and Scattered Frost overnight with lows by sunrise ( 6:40 a.m.) Tuesday in the upper 20s. Average High for April 7th is 53 Degrees and Average Low is 34 Degrees. Mostly Sunny and Warmer on Tuesday with Lighter South Winds at 5 to 15 mph and highs near 50 Degrees.

In Minnesota on Average the Highest Risk for Tornadoes is in south-central & southwest MN just sw of Twin Cities.
