Today will feel more like late April in the Twin Cities with Mainly Cloudy Skies ( Peeks of Sun ) and Isolated Thunder Showers at times this afternoon then some Sprinkles into the evening followed by Clearing Skies overnight. Cold Air Funnels ( not tornadoes ) are possible – they are harmless and rarely touch the ground but can look threatening. Highs Today only in the low to mid 60s ( average is upper 70s ) and Winds from the West-Northwest at 10 to 15 mph will make it feel even Cooler.

Rain is possible this Weekend but most of the time it will be Dry with Highest Chance for Rain and T-Storms between 11 p.m. Saturday and 4 a.m. Sunday. Sprinkles or Isolated T-Storms are possible Today, Saturday afternoon and Sunday afternoon but most areas will remain Dry with Partly to Mostly Cloudy Skies Today, Saturday and Sunday. Winds will be less than 10 mph Today and Saturday then Breezy from the Northwest at 10 to 20 mph Sunday afternoon.

Increasing Clouds this Thursday afternoon in the Twin Cities with an Isolated Shower or T-Storm possible after 4 p.m. but most likely Dry with Wet Weather mainly west of the Twin Cities. Showers and T-Storms but nothing Severe expected will move northeast toward the Twin Cities this evening with Showers and T-Storms likely after 12 a.m. Friday. Highs Today will be in the upper 70s with Southwest Winds at 5 to 10 mph.

Canadian Wildfire Smoke will continue to move away from the Twin Cities and rest of Minnesota Today although folks with Respiratory Issues should use some caution as some small amounts of Smoke will still be in the air through Friday but nothing like the extremely unhealthy levels of Smoke we had on Tuesday. Mainly Sunny in the Twin Cities Today with highs in the upper 70s and West Winds at 5 to 10 mph. Clear Skies with Light Winds Tonight and lows in the upper 50s by 6 a.m. Thursday.

AIR QUALITY ALERT UNTIL 6 A.M. WEDNESDAY: Not so nice outside with Rain in the Twin Cities Today and actually not healthy with the high amount of wildfire smoke from Canada fires down at surface level Today. The Rain and Cooler Air is pushing wildfire smoke that was higher in the atmosphere over Minnesota past few days down to the surface. Air Quality will be Unhealthy for everyone in the Twin Cities and surrounding areas from now until about 6 a.m. Wednesday.
