KSTP-TV, also known as channel 5, is a TV station based in Saint Paul, Minnesota, and serves the Twin Cities region as an ABC affiliate. It is the primary television station owned by Hubbard Broadcasting, which has been its owner since it first started broadcasting. KSTP-TV is associated with KSTC-TV (channel 5.2), an independent station in Minneapolis, as well as several radio stations: KSTP (1500 AM), KSTP-FM (94.5), and KTMY (107.1 FM). All five media outlets operate from shared studios located on University Avenue, right on the border between Saint Paul and Minneapolis. The transmitter for KSTP-TV is situated at Telefarm Towers in Shoreview, Minnesota.

According to the State Patrol, a Ford F-150 was driving north on Highway 65 when a Chrysler Town and Country, which was traveling south, entered the northbound lane and collided with the Ford. The driver of the Chrysler, 64-year-old Kenneth Michael Snyder, was killed in the crash.
