The Latest Forecast by Meteorologists Alyssa Caroprese & Jordan Due With all this rain we’ve seen for the past week, the next 48 hours still look wet but not nearly as wet as the week we’ve had. The rain is expected to die down a bit overnight tonight with some scattered showers keeping us company until the noon time tomorrow. The unsettled weather continues, with another rainy start to the day tomorrow, then finally we have some drier air on the way in for Sunday.

Today we’ve seen a pretty active radar up towards the north and west as those showers and storms start to intensify. The SPC has us into the marginal and slight risk categories for the rest of this evening once the storms pass. As for timing, 8pm-10pm we’ll likely see substantial wind gusts along with heavy downpours before we dry out overnight tonight. After we clear out tonight, we have a great day forecasted for tomorrow. Mostly sunny skies and cooler air will move in, a great day to be outside.

But first…some rain. Today wasn’t half bad but we’ve started to see those showers on the rise early this evening as they’re moving in from the northwest. But the showers will taper off by later tonight, then we have beautiful weather on the way! Tomorrow there could be a few clouds that stick around to start the day but temps will feel much milder in the low-50s. With more sunshine on the way during the afternoon, we could very well have a quick warm up as we get throughout our Tuesday.
