    John Pavia was involved in pardons during his time as a New York City prosecutor. He said Thursday that some pardons have rankled him over the years, but President Donald Trump's pardon of former Gov. John Rowland did not. "I don't have a problem at all, when you take it against the landscape of pardons that we've seen now," said Pavia, a professor of law at Quinnipiac University.
