    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Recovery is underway across Madison after a possible tornado rolled though town Saturday afternoon. Multiple trees were knocked down and power lines snapped. Also, businesses were damaged. “All I could say is oh my Lord this is Madison, Tennessee,“ a resident told WSMV4. The storm caused a tree to fall on the awning of Otto Howell’s home as he waited for it to pass through. “All of sudden bam, come down the trees falling, we’re down on the ground,” Howell reflected.

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - The intersection of of 12th Avenue South and Demonbreun Street became the backdrop of a crime scene Friday morning. Kirk Granfors, 64, and his wife, Kathy Granfors, 68, of Jacksonville, Florida, were killed following a high-speed crash, according to Metro Nashville Police. Prior to the impact, Awil Carie was at the stop light. “We’re lucky, it was red. I was standing over there,” He said.
