This is despite Nintendo previously stating original Switch users could only GameShare original Nintendo Switch games from Nintendo Switch 2. Announced during the Nintendo Switch 2 Direct, GameShare allows a player to share their copy of a game with another player who doesn’t own the game. This can be done in person via local wireless networking or via GameChat.

Today, Nintendo will give players an in-depth look at Nintendo Switch 2 launch game, Mario Kart World. The Nintendo Mario Kart World Direct will “provide detailed information about the Nintendo Switch 2 software”, according to Nintendo. Mario Kart World is the flagship launch game for the Nintendo Switch 2, which will launch in June. Bloober Team has released the first gameplay trailer for its new IP, Cronos: The New Dawn. Nintendo has confirmed how long Thursday’s Mario Kart World Direct will last.
