I don’t usually believe in telling people not to voice their opinions, regardless of what those opinions may be. But if you are not in Los Angeles right now and your opinion is anything other than, let us support and lift up those who have lost everything, Ijust don’t think people need to hear it. It is not shocking that a tragedy will become immediately politicized. That’s the way our country seems to work these days.

Just a few days ago, President Biden bestowed the Presidential Medal of Honor upon former Secretary of State, former presidential candidate, and former First Lady Hilary Clinton. It was a poignant moment for those who have followed her career over the years – I was a massive Hillary supporter in the 2016 campaign, although I have to insert the caveat that I really feel like the entire Democratic Party missed the boat by not putting forth Bernie as the nominee.

The 2024 college football season is down to its final four teams, and the NFL regular season concluded Sunday. That makes this a great time to take another look at the 2025 NFL draft and fully update our predictions for the 32-team first round. A lot will change before April 24, when the draft rolls into Green Bay, Wisconsin. Some players will unexpectedly return to school; others will surprisingly declare early. Pre-draft events will shake up boards.

A few years ago, I shot a segment about how Democrats are objectively funnier. It’s true; it just is. I’m sorry. We have a full monopoly on late night, and Tucker Carlson’s “you’re a bad little girl” bit earlier this year certainly didn’t bolster the public sense that the right is on the cutting edge of comedy. The problem, of course, is that the things that Republicans are doing…aren’t funny. And now that they’re firmly in power…it kinda feels like…nothing is.
