More than a dozen Cambell’s soups, Molly’s Kitchen products and other prepared meals have been recalled due to possible contamination of the cilantro. The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service issued a recall Friday, April 11, after it was notified cilantro in the products may have been contaminated with wood. The products were distributed in Michigan, Illinois, Indiana and Ohio.

LAKE TOWNSHIP, MI -- A man walking on a Berrien County freeway was killed early Saturday morning when he was struck by a semi-truck. A man was driving around 3:45 a.m., April 12, east on I-94 near Browntown Road in Lake Township when an animal appeared in the roadway, said Berrien County Sheriff’s Office in a release.
