INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The Indy Eleven will not enjoy a repeat of last season’s Cinderella run in the U.S. Open Cup after a penalty kick loss to Major League Soccer side Philadelphia Union. It took 120 minutes of on-field action and a tense round of penalty kicks for the Eleven to finally succumb to their opponents. The Eleven were darlings of last year’s competition, upsetting bigger teams on their way to the semifinals.
