WIIH-CD is a low-powered, Class A television station that broadcasts on virtual channel 17 and VHF digital channel 8 in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA. This station is affiliated with getTV and is owned by Circle City Broadcasting. It is part of a family of stations that includes WISH-TV, a CW affiliate on channel 8, and WNDY-TV, a MyNetworkTV affiliate on channel 23, both of which are also licensed in Indianapolis and Marion. WIIH-CD shares its studios with its sister stations on North Meridian Street, situated in the northern part of the Television Row area in Indianapolis. The transmitter for WIIH-CD is located on Walnut Drive in the Augusta neighborhood, which is on the northwest side of the city, close to Meridian Hills.

Organizers say the flea market began as a neighborhood fundraiser in 1975 and has grown from neighbors selling stuff in their yards to 80 acres and more than 200 yards filled with goods for sale. The flea market is held every year during the first weekend of June.

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Students from five high schools on Thursday were participating in the Teacher Prep Academy at the University of Indianapolis, an effort designed to address the ongoing teacher shortage. Indiana Department of Education’s website on Thursday listed 3,530 job openings at Indiana schools. In June 2024, when 30 students from 11 high schools attended UIndy’s academy, WISH-TV reported that number was more than 2,100. The future of the academy, though, isn’t certain.
