MOUNT LAUREL, NJ — A man was killed in a crash after his SUV hit a truck Tuesday in Burlington County, authorities said. It happened at 3:59 p.m. on the New Jersey Turnpike's south outer roadway in Mansfield. MOUNT LAUREL, NJ — A woman who got out of a moving ambulance on the highway earlier this month has succumbed to her injuries. The woman was seriously injured after exiting the rear of an ambulance and falling onto the roadway April 4 on Interstate 295 in Mount Laurel, officials said. The state's fatal-crash database now shows that the incident was deadly. The 37-year-old Sewell resident was a rear passenger in the vehicle. She was hospitalized after the incident, according to State Police.

The victim — a 17-year-old Sewell resident — was driving in the single-vehicle crash, a State Police spokesperson told Patch. Authorities have withheld his name as late Wednesday morning. CAMDEN, NJ — Rep. Donald Norcross faces a lengthy recovery after suffering a life-threatening gallbladder infection. Norcross (D-NJ) suffered the medical emergency while traveling down south earlier this month. He was admitted to a North Carolina hospital on April 6 and was transferred to Cooper University Hospital in Camden the next day. The South Jersey congressman remained in intensive care as of Monday, according to his doctor, Eric Kupersmith, who is also Cooper's chief physician executive.
