He’s doing spoken word, and talking about his new memoir.

FRIDAY…the PADRES are back home at Petco Park for their series against the Colorado Rockies. We’ll see how bad these injuries will hurt the team. At the Del Mar Fairgrounds, it’s the VILLAIN ARTS TATTOO FESTIVAL, from 2 to 11 p.m. I’m guessing more people decide on tattoos later in the evening. This convention will have artists, special guests, and lots of entertainment. It’s going on Saturday, too. There’s a SANTANA tribute band in PACIFIC BEACH at the Aquarius Bar and Grill.

FRIDAY night, a few great comedians are in town. WANDA SYKES will be at the San Diego Civic Theatre DOWNTOWN. I love her in interviews, but once sat in the front row for her show in Las Vegas, and only laughed twice. Her long-time opener, Keith Robinson was hysterical, though. RICH VOSS, whom I’ve loved for decades, and has been on “Gutfeld!” a lot the last few years, will be at GRAND COMEDY in ESCONDIDO. There’s a 6:30 and 9 p.m. show, which I’ll be at.

FRIDAY…in sports, the big deal is the PADRES home opening series. They’ll be playing again against the Atlanta Braves at PETCO PARK all weekend. The San Diego GULLS have a home game at PECHANGA ARENA against the Tucson Roadrunners, and another game Saturday night. On the theater stage, the drama I NEVER SANG FOR MY FATHER will still be playing at PowPAC in Poway. ONCE is still playing at the Lamb’s Players Theatre in CORONADO. 3 SUMMERS OF LINCOLN is still at the LA JOLLA PLAYHOUSE.

FRIDAY night entertainment starts with UMPHREY’S McGEE at the Observatory in NORTH PARK. For tribute band fans, the RED NOT CHILI PEPPERS are at the House of Blues DOWNTOWN. Or you can ramble on over to PALA CASINO, for an all female LED ZEPPELIN tribute – Zepparella. The bluegrass band THE BROTHERS COMATOSE will be at the Belly Up Tavern in SOLANA BEACH. Hopefully they don’t put anyone to sleep. You can catch a new theater show this weekend.

So, Gisele Bundchen is dating her Jiu Jitsu teacher. And if memory serves, Elvis' wife dated her karate teacher after Elvis. So...do martial arts teachers score all the women? Was Mr. Miyagi "waxing off" with women when he wasn't training Daniel?
One of Leno's cars caught fire and burned his face. He's going tobe ok. When he returns to the stage he'll make a joke about his chin taking most of the damage, or how he was working on a Richard Pryor impersonation, or that the flames werent just painted on his hot rod. #JayLeno
I was at an event tonight and at dinner, talking with a guy I had just met. After about 48 minutes, he tells me he's BABE RUTH'S grandson. At that point, I had nothing. Both my grandfathers were dead when I was born, and all I know about one is that he once threw up on a bus.
