I think 1967 was the best year in rock history for albums with The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, and Pink Floyd debuts, Love’s “Forever Changes” Cream’s “Disraeli Gears,” “Sgt Pepper” and the Jefferson Airplane’s “Surrealistic Pillow.” (Don’t send letters on the records I missed, I only have so much space). I always think when bands change line-ups, they should change their name. Van Halen should’ve become Van Hagar. The Who are on their last tour.

FRIDAY…you have tonight and Saturday, to see the final shows of GREASE at the Moonlight Amphitheatre in VISTA. I have a few friends that saw it. One loved it. The other liked it, but said “It’s a lot different than the movie.”In sports, the PADRES are playing the Seattle Mariners at Petco Park. RYAN ADAMS, not to be confused with Bryan Adams, will be at the Magnolia Performing Arts Center in EL CAJON.
