WILLIAMSON — Williamson City Council met on Thursday to discuss the Mountaineer Hotel among other items. The Mountaineer Hotel has been a topic of discussion for the last few meetings. According to Mayor Mike Casey, the council met for a workshop the previous week where no decisions were made about the hotel, but where the requests of the hotel were discussed. As reported, at a previous meeting the first request was a five year tax break of B&O tax.
