BENTON CO., Wash. - Wildland firefighters continued to monitor a large area of southeastern Benton County after a wildfire broke out there Saturday. Fire officials said the Les Blair Road Fire burned about 510 acres but that amount may change as crews continue to assess the area. Two power poles were damaged in the fire but there were no reports of power outages. Power crews were sent to the area and went to work making repairs. A shed that was in the area had minor damage.
