Drivers who receive a traffic ticket in Newark soon will have to pay an additional $10 ambulance fee, on top of the fine and other fees. Newark City Council initially approved the fee in 2020, part of the city’s ongoing effort to assist the cash-strapped Aetna Hose, Hook and Ladder Company. The intention then was that all the money generated by the fee would be passed on directly to Aetna. kAm“%96C6 :D 2 5:C64E ?6IFD 36EH66?
