Antonov Airlines and Air Partner have delivered a valve for an oil refinery from Italy to the Middle East.
The valve, weighing around 20 tonnes and measuring over 3 m in height, was loaded/unloaded from the AN-124-100 aircraft using a low-profile cargo ramp manufactured by Antonov’s in-house engineers, in combination with external cranes. It was transported from Fiumicino, in Rome, to the undisclosed delivery site in the Middle East.

CTS East has purchased a CombiMAX trailer from Faymonville, the first of its kind to be deployed in Africa.
CTS East, which is based in Brakpan, South Africa, has an existing fleet largely made up of Faymonville trailers – including semi-trailers, flatbeds, and modules. Following a visit to South Africa by a member of Faymonville’s instruction team, CTS East made the order of a 3+5 combination which includes an excavator bridge.

InterMax Logistics Solution has transported 48 used crawler cranes from Taichung, Taiwan, to Jebel Ali, UAE.
“One of the pieces was too large to fit under the hatch cover of the vessel,” said an InterMax spokesperson, when detailing the shipping process. “To address this issue, we needed to dismantle the oversized component and rearrange its position before securing it for transport.”
All 48 cranes reached their destination safely and intact.

The Netherlands-headquartered vessel operator Wagenborg has handled three lock gates from Emden, Germany, for a new lock complex in Brunsbüttel, Germany.
Each weighing over 2,500 tonnes each and measuring 47 m x 9 m x 21 m, the three gates were placed on 136 axle lines of SPMT. Wagenborg will ship the lock doors by pontoon over the course of the year.

deugro USA has added a second warehouse facility at Cedar Port Industrial Park in Baytown, Texas.
The new facility, which is already in operation, is called Cedar-Port Operations and Logistics Terminal (COLT) and will act as an additional facility alongside deugro’s existing facility in Baytown.
COLT, with a total space of 47 acres (19 ha), provides laydown areas and indoor space to accommodate various activities.

Heavy lift and transport engineering firm Hareket has delivered 40 trams, weighing a combined 1,600 tonnes, from Türkiye to Romania.
Manufactured in Türkiye’s capital, Ankara, Hareket delivered the trams to Timișoara, in Romania.
Each tram weighed 40 tonnes and measured 30 m x 2.4 m x 3.69 m.
Earlier this month, HLPFI reported that Hareket had used its 2,200-tonne crawler crane for the first time.
