Sunshine, temps in the 40s expected in NY, NJ

NEW YORK (PIX11) — Sunday will bring plenty of sunshine as the winds shift westward in the tri-state area. Afternoon highs will reach the low to mid-40s. Weather will be seasonable in the region on Monday with a mix of sun and clouds. Winds will be out of the southwest which will provide another boost to our temperatures. Afternoon highs will be in the mid to upper 40s. Look for colder conditions on Tuesday and Wednesday as temperatures drop back into the 30s.

NEW YORK (PIX11) — Monday, periods of rain are expected beginning in the morning and continuing through the late afternoon. Precipitation amounts may reach a quarter of an inch. Highs again will likely reach 50. Tuesday will be mostly cloudy with some fog in the early morning possible. However, it will remain mainly dry throughout the day. Temperatures will be even milder with highs in the mid 50’s before more precipitation arrives on Wednesday with temperatures spring-like near 60.

NEW YORK (PIX11) — Sunday will bring frigid feels-like temperatures in the 20s with a mix of sun and clouds. With the temperatures low, flurries are possible in the north and west due to the lake effect. NYC forecast and PIX11’s Weather Center Monday and Tuesday will be partly cloudy with highs in the mid to upper 30s and lows in the 20s. Morning wind chills will continue to be well below freezing as the jet stream dips as far south as Florida.

NEW YORK (PIX11) — Tonight, we expect it to feel a bit chilly with temperatures in the lower 40’s. The clouds will clear as the night goes on. Monday, to begin the holiday week, is expected to remain dry and become milder. Highs may reach 60, which is above normal for this time of year. By Tuesday, the warm temperatures will continue as a southwest wind becomes more predominant. A morning shower is possible on Tuesday before a gradual clearing.
