The City Government of San Fernando celebrated Earth Day 2025 with a cleanup drive in two villages on Tuesday, April 22. The cleanup in barangays Calulut and Malpitic was led by the City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO). Personnel of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources-Environmental Management Bureau Central Luzon, Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office, Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, and the barangays joined the activity.

The Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) said the public may avail of in-patient benefits for heat-related illnesses in accredited hospitals nationwide. The agency on Monday said that benefit packages are for heat stroke, heat exhaustion, heat collapse, heat cramp and sunstroke at P12,675; heat fatigue and other effects of heat and light at P18,135; moderate to severe dehydration at P7,800; and varicella/chickenpox without complication, P7,800.

The Commission on Elections (Comelec) precinct finder for the May 12, 2025 national and elections is now up and accessible to voters. The precinct finder, which was previously planned to be launched two weeks before the polls, went "live" at 4 am on April 23, said the Comelec En Banc on Wednesday.

The Central Luzon police recorded seven fatalities during the Holy Week due to drowning. The Police Regional Office III said that there were nine drowning incidents in the provinces of Aurora, Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, and Zambales involving 12 individuals including the seven fatalities. Brigadier General Jean Fajardo, director of PRO-3, said the Holy Week observance in the region was marked by peace, solemnity, and strong community cooperation.

The Provincial Tourism Office (PTO) of Aurora on Sunday reported that over 433,000 tourists visited various sites in the province during Holy Week,The PTO said the figure was recorded from April 12 to 18, with 134,164 guests staying overnight and 299,030 as one-day visitors. Among Aurora’s eight municipalities, Dipaculao recorded the highest number of overnight guests with 64,012. Dipaculao was followed by Dingalan with 27,686 and Dilasag with 17,439.
