Former Dallas Cowboy-turned-UFC fighter Greg Hardy was arrested in North Texas this week. The former Cowboys defensive end was arrested Wednesday afternoon and was charged with assault causing bodily injury of a family member. As of Thursday morning, he was still in the Richardson jail. His bond was not set as of Thursday morning. A mugshot was not available. Hardy was with the Carolina Panthers from 2010-2014 and joined the Cowboys in 2015, his final season in the NFL.

A new bus line is launching in Fort Worth, helping visitors and residents alike get around Cowtown. The Blue Line is replacing Molly the Trolley, which will officially end its services on June 7, according to Trinity Metro. The Blue Line will begin its service the following day, June 8. "Much like the Orange Line, Trinity Metro's Blue Line will provide a necessary connection for residents and tourists to some of Fort Worth's iconic destinations," said Fort Worth Mayor Mattie Parker.

DFR said two vehicles were submerged due to rapidly rising water levels.

One person is dead after a swift water rescue in Dallas. Dallas Fire-Rescue said crews responded to a 911 call just after midnight after someone reported their vehicle was stuck in high water under the I-635 bridge at Park Central Drive. DFR said two vehicles were submerged due to rapidly rising water levels. Two people were seen getting out of one of the vehicles, according to DFR, but rescue crews had to wait on the water levels to go down before checking if anyone else was in the other vehicle.
