Alexander Demooy, 38, purchased the winning 500X The Cash Scratch-Off game for $50 at the Publix store at 175 S. Barfield Drive on Marco Island, the Florida Lottery announced Monday. Demooy opted for a one-time, lump-sum payment of $640,000 and claimed his prize at the Lottery’s Fort Myers District Office, lottery officials said.
