Molly Green, 29, was due to stand trial at Maidstone Crown Court on Tuesday, May 27 accused of two offences of perverting the course of justice in relation to her fake claims made four years ago. But before a jury was sworn in, the former Rochester resident admitted her guilt.

A single mum who scarred a woman with a glass during a drunken attack at a wedding reception has been spared jail for the sake of her children. Jayden O'Neill left Olivia Cole nursing a facial injury and a deep wound to her arm after violence broke out at the plush Winters Barns venue on the outskirts of Canterbury. The 28-year-old also hurled another glass at a guest who stepped in to break up the resulting scuffle, leaving him with a cut to his head.

Counsel in a trial at Canterbury Crown Court has just had the unpleasant surprise of a creep-crawly landing in her water, possibly from the wooden rafters above. Still, better than what once dripped onto counsel row in court 7 at Maidstone CC from the robing room urinals above.😱
