Hi all! I thought I’d shake things up a little bit this week. Instead of a normal Tuesday lunch-themed recipe, I’m sharing ‘a week of actual lunch’ in the same spirit as this newsletter about dinner (and this recent one, too!). My hope is that it’s fun to see (I love these sorts of diaries when other people share them!) and also helpful — there are many mini-recipes throughout.

Hi friends! This past Sunday, I taught my 125th online cooking class (all about chickpeas!)Nearly a year ago I wrote a newsletter all about how and why I started teaching in 2021, what it’s meant to me, how it’s connected me to Haley (hi Haley!) and better connected me to my family, and how it’s helped me in my mission to make cooking feel EASIER for us all.

Hey there! On Tuesdays I share easy lunch recipes for paid subscribers. To me, lunch recipes are especially simple to make and simple to clean-up (of course you can make the recipe for any mealtime that you’d like!). I always include a number of helpful notes for paid subscribers (i.e. ways to make vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free versions of the recipe and other fun notes/ideas). Want today’s recipe + thorough list of variations/notes??

I spent last weekend with my parents at my brother and sister-in-law’s house in Cleveland (do you live there and need help with your estate planning or your skincare? they’re your people!). On Sunday, for Mother’s Day, we were joined by my sister-in-law’s family for a get-together. We originally planned to do brunch but had to shift the time later in the day so we kept the same menu plan and just called it BINNER. In total we were 13 people ranging in ages from 15 months to 80 years old.
