BOSTON — There was a sense of calm that spread through the visitors' clubhouse at Fenway Park earlier this week. Veteran George Springer was stretched out on one of the few couches in the tight space, a setup that matched the cramped, timeworn feel that comes with Fenway, watching the Masters on one of the tiny televisions. Bo Bichette beamed with confidence as he exited one of the team's daily hitters' meetings, making his way back to his locker on the far side of the clubhouse.

BOSTON — Jarren Duran never lifted his eyes or raised his head, but words were enough from the Red Sox outfielder. Before Tuesday's game against the Blue Jays, Duran spoke candidly about a suicide attempt in 2022, a deeply personal moment shared in the Red Sox's new Netflix series, "The Clubhouse.""I mean, the whole purpose of me sharing is just kind of to get it out there and let people know that they're not alone," said Duran. "Even if I could just help one person, it's meaningful.

BOSTON — Nolan Arenado lifted homers beyond the Green Monster, repeatedly sending balls onto Lansdowne Street early Friday afternoon. Fenway Park is a right-handed hitter's dream -- the short distance of 310 feet down the left-field line make it such. "Guys feel comfortable," Red Sox manager Alex Cora said prior to the Red Sox 2025 home opener against Arenado's Cardinals. "Especially righties. That's something we have noticed." It's a big reason why Alex Bregman signed with the Red Sox this spring.
