However, in 2024, that may have changed, as exit polls show that 20 percent of Black voters chose President Donald Trump. The highest for a Republican presidential candidate since 1960, a clear shift of Black voters leaving the Democratic party. Kimberly Marshall and Addul Ali are both Black and Republican. Neither of them shies away from talking about it.
