Welcoming guests at a hospital is a challenging type of hospitality. One can design beautiful sun-drenched buildings, send cheerful staff to check in with patients frequently, and employ providers who work efficiently—and even still, it’s not likely that the guests would choose to be there if they had the option. Long-term patients often yearn for their “regular life,” and even short-term patients may still miss out on fun life milestones like birthday celebrations, holidays and senior proms.

At college campuses around the country, a longtime student dining trend continues to accelerate: Many students are ditching the comfort food and soda in favor of healthy balanced meals (at least most of the time). Yet it can be challenging to build a plate that’s not only “healthy” but also nutritionally balanced—and delicious too. Inavamsi Enaganti has long been a dreamer. He keeps ever-evolving lists of life goals, ticking them off as he achieves them, then adding more. One childhood dream has burned particularly brightly in his mind: Create a science-focused amusement park. Enaganti is now working on a version of that dream through India’s Param Foundation.
