For the first time in three trips to the state tournament, Waverly junior Paige O’Bryant will be competing in two events at the state track and field meet Friday and Saturday. Throughout the 2025 track and field season, Eastern junior Brewer Tomlison has been one of top throwers in the Southeast District. For the first time in his high school career, Tomlison has landed a spot in the OHSAA state track and field meet after finishing third in the discus with a distance of 146-feet, 10-inches.
