    The Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) has announced that Cathryn Riley will step down from her role as non-executive director with immediate effect. She will resign from the board today (30 April) after more than four years with the scheme. Riley, who was originally appointed to the FSCS Board on 1 February 2021, previously worked as group chief operating officer for Aviva. The FSCS also appointed Jenny Watson CBE and Richard Harvey to the board on 1 March.
