Deputies with the Mecosta County Sheriff's Office responded to the following calls April 10-16. This is part of a report submitted by the Mecosta County Sheriff's Office and compiled by associate editor Julie Norwood. All calls may not be reported. Mecosta Twp: A traffic stop at 10:51 p.m. April 10 resulted in the driver being arrested on a warrant. Deputies lodged him at the Mecosta County Jail.

The following arraignments and sentencings were held April 7-9 in Lake County Trial Court:ArraignmentsRishawn C. Easley, of Idlewild: Easley was arraigned April 7 on one count each of assault with a dangerous weapon and reckless driving. He was released on his own personal recognizance with conditions of no alcohol, controlled substance or marijuana, in addition to no contact with the victim. A probable cause conference was set for April 17, and a preliminary exam for April 22.
