    A Nakuru-based lawyer has been ordered to pay suit cost after a case he had filed against a businessman was dismissed. Justice Hedwig Ong'udi dismissed lawyer Wilfred Konosi’s suit against Majid Mohamed, saying it lacked merit. Konosi sued Majid for writing a complaint to the Judicial Service Commission. Konosi in 2019 had applied for the position of a judge of the Environment and Lands Court and was shortlisted for the interview.

Gideon spoke in Aiyebo, Baringo North, where he had attended the burial of the late Willy Kamuren, who was the first MP for Baringo East, now Tiaty. He became the MP at the age of 26 in 1963. Gideon noted that there are processes yet to be finalized, and once done, he will go back to the people.
