    FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Thursday was the first day that a local boy diagnosed with cancer was able to use his brand-new pool built for free by Tredway Pools. Dominic Durnell is an 11-year-old boy who was diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia back in January of this year. He has been in treatment since then and is currently doing better than he was just a couple of months ago. Now, he has a new pool to use with his buddies.

    FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) On Wednesday, a vigil was held at Plymouth Congregational Church of Christ to show support for immigrants in Fort Wayne. Martin Garcia, the pastor of Amistad Church in Fort Wayne, says that he moved here from Southern California, and with everything going on in Los Angeles, this needed to be done. “One of the ways we want to support what is happening over there is to have these little peaceful demonstrations,” says Garcia.
