LAKE FOREST, Ill. – The Trine University women's hockey team picked up a convincing victory over the University of Dubuque, winning 5-0 on neutral ice. The Thunder scored a pair of goals in the first period to take the 2-0 lead into the first intermission. Payton Hans started the scoring in the contest with an unassisted goal in the seventh minute of play. The team followed up four minutes later with Kailey Mleko scoring with Lauren Lacroix adding an assist.

POTSDAM, N.Y. – The Trine University women's hockey team dropped their first game of a doubleheader against SUNY Potsdam by the score of 4-1. The Bears built a lead through the open two periods of the contest, scoring in the first minute of play and then twice in the second period to take a 3-0 lead into the second intermission.

ANGOLA, Ind. – Despite a strong defensive effort, the Trine University women's hockey team dropped their first game against visiting Lake Forest College by the score of 1-0. Casey Frank led the effort finishing the game with 40 saves after receiving the start in net. Her best moment came in the 12th minute of the second period, coming up with a huge save on a breakaway opportunity for the Foresters, keeping the scoreless tie intact for the second intermission.
