Salute Italian Restaurant, which opened in Frisco in January 2024, is co-owned by married couple Kiki Ademi and Benny Spaiu, and business partner Steve Lee. A groundbreaking ceremony will be held April 16 for Plano Midpoint, which is expected to open early 2026. “The 250,000-square-foot 1983 vintage office building will be demolished and two Class-A industrial buildings will be built in its place,” a company news release states. Upon completion, the facility will include two modern industrial buildings: one totaling 226,900 square feet and the other 96,100 square feet, both featuring 32-foot clear heights.

Cavender’s is set to open this summer in McKinney’s 380 Towne Crossing, said Benjamin Smith, Younger Partners senior property manager for the shopping center. Younger Partners acquired this center in late December. “Shortly thereafter, we received bankruptcy notices from Party City stating that its lease at 2097 N. Central Expressway in McKinney would be up for auction to be purchased by new entities looking to continue the existing lease,” Smith said.

Construction is currently underway on Gloria's Latin Cuisine in Plano. Upon completion, the Gloria’s located on Gaylord Parkway in Frisco will relocate to this new location at the southwest corner of Preston Road and SH 121, according to Vice President of Marketing & Communications Brian C. Penrod. Penrod said the company is working towards opening the new location towards the end of 2025.
