The garden is located next to the Old Millbrook School (where the library is)with a beautiful center flower garden looked after beautifully by some local volunteers. There are 12 individual plots that can be rented for $5 for the year and a large area where food is grown to donate to our local food share.

    By Karen Graham, Contributing Writer On May 25, 2024 at the beautiful El Camino Country Club, Ask Mama G hosted her sold-out annual Mother’s Day Tea during Memorial Day weekend. The table was set with beautiful mothers and daughters from San Diego County in support of the Rory Graham Jr. Foundation. The tea setting decor was designed by Linda Maynor. Chef Mr. Don prepared a charming menu that was delicious. This year’s entertainment was performed by Mr. J Boykin, the saxophonist.

    A group of Willard Middle School students have launched a fundraising campaign to help install a wheelchair accessible swing in a local park. Hanna Stolle, Gabriela Torres, Pareen Sandhu, Siri Gudi and Manasvi Theetla have named their project “Play 4 All.” They aim to raise $25,000 to purchase the swing for a newly constructed park in Sterling before their deadline of Dec. 24, which is when the equipment will be ordered.
