INTRODUCTION Lung cancer remains the leading cause of cancer-related mortality globally.1 To diminish mortality, guidelines recommend screening patients with high-risk tobacco history with low-dose CT scans (LDCT) to diagnose lung cancer at an earlier, more treatable stage.1-3 The use of LDCT has been demonstrated to improve the survival for high-risk patients.
