Obama adviser David Axelrod made a brutally honest observation on Sunday. Axelrod said it’s more likely Biden will “lose by a landslide” than eke out a victory. Yikes. It is what many Republicans think but Democrats think they can run anyone and that person will defeat former President Trump, even President Biden. Democrats have a fever dream that they can switch out Biden and whoever is chosen for the top of the ticket, that person will win.

Welp. If President Biden has lost the support of actor and producer Rob Reiner, things are getting tough. Reiner is a big donor to the Democrat Party. He participates in fundraising events. He has been a loyal Biden supporter. Now he is joining other big donors in calling for Biden to step aside. A little over a week ago, Reiner hosted a fundraiser with Kamala for incumbents. It's enough to give someone whiplash.

President Biden couldn't remember whether or not he watched a replay of the presidential debate. That is what he told George Stephanopoulos in an interview that was supposed to calm the nerves of panicked Democrats. Statements like that contributed to Biden's less-than-stellar performance during that short interview. Biden did not change any minds. Rep. James Clyburn (D-SC) is a true blue Biden loyalist. He is the one credited with Biden's win in 2020.

The question is whether or not President Biden leaves the presidential race. The only people who can answer that question are Joe Biden and Jill Biden. It doesn't take going too far out on a limb to state that as long as Jilly from Philly is in charge (and she is) Joe Biden will remain in the race. She is determined to convince the world that her husband has a very successful presidency and deserves four more years.
