In 2008, Gray was a standout at Lakota West High School. She was one of the top recruits in the country who went on to play at the University of Tennessee for the legendary Pat Summitt. "It was a dream come true," Gray said. But during her freshman year, Gray had surgery to repair her rotator cuff.

Stephen Wiggins never expected to spend so much time in a cemetery, but since losing his wife Betsy last year, Rose Hill in Fairfield Township has become a sacred place. "When you lost a loved one, it changes you," Wiggins said. "I never envisioned myself being at a cemetery as often as I am, or I never thought about changing flowers at a cemetery." Wiggins visits the cemetery often to reflect and feel close to his wife of 50 years.

Kettering Health has now confirmed what many people expected: last week's cyberattack involved ransomware. "At this time, we believe that's what it was, yes," said John Weimer, senior vice president and leader for incident command at Kettering Health. Weimer called the attack "jarring." He said around 5 a.m. last Tuesday, Kettering was made aware of unauthorized access to its system.

A cyberattack has thrown Kettering Health into crisis, shutting down systems, canceling appointments, and cutting off communication with patients. "Oh, it's very scary," said Jamie Rodgers North. The timing of the cyberattack couldn't have been worse for North. "I recently found out I have an 80 percent blockage in my left carotid artery, which means I'm very high risk of a stroke, possibly heart attack," North said.
