Her solo exhibition “Conversations with the Universe” kicks off at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 4 at 1211 Montana Ave. Baca will talk about her work starting at 3 p.m. on Sunday but she also shared the inspiration behind her art on KTSM 9 News Today with Ian Roth and Karla Draksler.

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – In this week’s episode of There’s Nothing to do in El Paso, KTSM 9 News Ian Roth and Karla Draksler put on their gardening gloves to help volunteer Master Gardeners take care of the almost fully bloomed Municipal Rose Garden. The first rose bushes planted in 1958 have stood through the test of time and to this day can be admired in this long-standing garden. Four acres of various rose types located at 1702 N Copia Street are not an easy feat to maintain.
